MC Duffy

I had a great time last night at Back 2 Basics. I really enjoyed hearing Duffy Robbins talk. When he started off saying that he was going to rap, I thought he meant 'rap' in the sense that I have heard Americans refer to what I would call a D&M or deep and meaningful. But, then when he asked the drummer to come up and give him a beat, I realised he meant rap as in 'You Can't Touch This'. He actually did a rap of the books of the bible - it was very good.

Thanks to everyone who was there for having me. I hope I can come to another Back 2 Basics some time this year.

Hey! I thought ur blog looked lonely so I thought I'd leave you a comment, lol. Anyway, so do you remember me? I was with my friends at Back 2 Basics the other night, you know the pi guy, the girl that wanted the uekelele,the silent girl, the one that laughed alot and me who asked if ur cd was any good and then we bought it! Anyway, yes that was Matt, Sarah, Rachel, Laura and Me- Elise! And I want my money back!!! Lol, I'm joking, we love ur cd! We really enjoyed the other night, there is normally so many more people though, and we also hope to see you at another B2B night or otherwise Blackstump!! Can't wait!

Hi Elise (and the rest). I'm glad you like the CD - otherwise I'd have to give you your money back, and I've already spent it all by buying petrol on the way home.
